..wow how much fun!
..im not joking when i say i REAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLy enjoyed having a rest day :) on friday
..anyway went out for drinks friday noght with a gfriend..we were having a great chat together and then this guy who was abit rude started talking to us so we chatted for a bit..and he went off and then later came back...and im not quite sure why but he called us stuck up...my gf was soo funny..her response was...well if stuck up means speaking well and having a good job then yes we are stuck up..i was telling her not to even bother eplying,...he was a drip!!!!!!!!!!!
...anyway my cleanse has been the complete opposite of a cleanse for the last 2 days..it has been a 'how much rubbish can jojo put into her body' last coupla days...lol.. yep we had a slice of pizza at midnight..and not anything resembling healthy pizza..im sure there was 500g of delicious cheese...yummmy!!! and then took a MILLION dollar cab ride....lol
..in the morning my flatmate had said she needed her car at 10:30 am(she had told me that the night b4)(and i was parked behind her) ... when i got home(5mins late only..phew) shes like...oh actually im not going to drive anyway...ummmmmmmmmm it was a little annoying..cos i wouldnt have rushed around soooo much etc etc..anyway a lovely brekky in glenferrie road..and then it was time to go for a run...
.did anyway notice it was kinda hot in the afternoon??? not the 'sweltering im a puddle hot of the 35+ days' where you wouldnt consider running afternoon...but the 'goodness oops i shoulda run a wee bit earlier' type...
set was supposed to be 2km w/up 4 x 1km@4:35 1km cool down .. but stu had told me it was still hot so if i wanted i could just do a few(he had also told me i was going to not like him very much during this session) smart boy..he was right ;)
..anyway first 250 of each rep i did waaaaaaaay too hard(aiming for 68-9 hit about 64) the first one was an ever so slight incline(from the 3.5km marker to the 2.5km) anway hit in 4:35 ..but with only 1 min recov..wasnt feeling great...next one slightly downhill 4:30 but again fatiguing at the end...decide im running out of time as i have a wedding and im tired and really i just suck..so 3 reps will do...
omg i was sooooooooooooooooo spent at the end of it..i could not have done another rep if you had offered me MONEY 4:41 i could barely muster enough energy to do the 1km cool down..i had to walk twice during the cooldown...lol
..anyway then off to a friends wedding where i knew bucketloads of people..was going to drive but convinced to stay with my 3 friends who had a cabin...so kicked up my heels..danced heaps...drank heaps and had a FANTASTIC time...you know its going to be great wedding when 3/4 of people are all up dancing before dinner...it was AWESOME..
..ill post one little piccy later today.. someone needs to go do a longish run...even tho they waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay dont feel like it

Tough set yesterday??? Just imagine if I had remained with the orignial set of 5x1000m...
I think with the shorter LR today and a nothing day tmrw, you just might start to 'freshen' a little...and if you get back on the 'so-called' cleanse you may even feel better (stirring) :-0
JoJo, I've been doing some serious thinking about this cleanse thing for, oh, three seconds, and I have the answer for you - the Champagne Cleanse. Basically, it's the same as the cleanse you're doing UNLESS the occasion calls for champagne, in which case you drink all the champagne you feel like at the time. Any food decisions made while affected by said champagne do not count.
I think you'd ace this cleanse.
I think I have developed the ability to read Jo's posts without noticing the quirky syntax, it is an art.
Glad you had a good time at the Wedding, you can't be a no drinking wall flower at those things, you gotta kick up your heels.

Sounds like you had a great day. I think Kathy's Champagne Cleanse seems like your type of cleanse - not sure if your liver would actually benefit much though!
