..hmmm a pb but cant say im happy

..so today i ran the 1500m... we were hoping for 5:39.. there is a big difference between 5:40 and 5:39 sub 5:40 is waaaaaaaaaay better
..so only one heat..the girls cranked out the first lap..i tried to run my own race but went thru a couple of secs too fast which evened out over the next couple of laps(which were way slow) and then an 82s last 400 i think so not very even....
..conditions were fine/... anyway was very annoyed that i ran 5:40.xx(well i am kind of pleased cos it is a pb since ive been an adult... so.. im kinda torn
..then ran the 200m but was kinda looking around to see where stu was cos i knew i would get in trouble... he wasnt even sure that i should do the 400m :(
anyway we didnt have any girls in it so i decided to cruise around the 200... got called back and did the hammer throw...omg..i had no idea how(and was a bit concerned about back..fingers crossed for tomorrow..i decide not to pull on the back too hard just get a throw in... it was ..lets see...abysmal...ridiculous..um but kinda fun..i did have vision of me clonking my head with the bugger.... and then had to run straight over to the 200m... contemplated no spikes but popped them on..and ran slower and started to speed up...just as i was getting to a good pace..i became quite aware of my achilles(it dont like speed man!!!) so pulle dup and slowed for the last5ish m... yeah it was a 34..omg how slow is that..thats ridiculous!!!!!!!!!
also did shotput 6.x m and discus 16.x both of which i only did one throw.. my rules are if i throw over 6/16 i dont have to do more.. after the 200m i was icing my achilles :( but was still going to run the 400m... well that WAS until i bumped into stu of course..once i mentioned the 200m and pulling up there was a conversation... um i think i took my spikes off and threw them(i love the 400m)not sure if stu saw that little tanty...lol.. but it was the RIGHT decision...definitely..although when one of the girls ran faster than me and then i thought i was kicked out of the 400 for the finals(although i have still run the 3rd fastest av time so i should still be in the 400..and the 800 and maybe shotput or discus..not sure yet
...first day back at work... finally got some answers from the guy running my year 12 subject..so feel much better about it now
...ummmmmm almost crunched poor cookie monster today... i bought one of those visor things for the car..and i got kinda all muddled in it(yes it was kinda mister bean-ish) anyway...the car wasnt in gear and was rolling down the hill towards my garage(and ive got the visor everywhere so i cant even see my feet...and am madly popping my feet on stuff to try to brake...omg...you dont even want to know whow fast my heart was going... i had the highest adrenaline for ages..all shaky etc....
.big big day... miss j is having a glass of red(havent had red for about 2 years..cos it makes me look like vampira... my teeth anyway
..and i loved a comment sara made to me today.. if it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck and has feathers like a duck..then its a freaking duck...gosh that girl cracks me up..
..and yes em..i was at a car wash place..im super conchy water girl :)
