..a water run (of sorts) at the AIS
yep flew to canberra today.... ughghghhg i hate flying, im a very nervous flier-and it was quite turbulent today too
-not going to be many chances to do any running apart from with the boys..i dont think we will manage a run, Ewen, after all :(
-managed to sneak off for 40mins to the pool. Unfortunately it is only 1.1m deep and hence not ideal for water running. so ditched the bouyancy belt and went running with my oh so delicate precious little princess feet. After 10mins tehy ground was starting to chomp on my feet and started oeeling off skin off my toes. i persevered for the next 10mins and then decided if i kept going it would be detrimental so i kickboarded for the next 15 mins.
-they have only allocated us half hour in the dining hall-quite hard to get all 33 boys all done and dusted in that time. Also the junior boys dont have anything organised for them tonight(free time) so theyre being a bit loud and silly
im in my room which is a bit cell like really. Has a bunk in here, its not ridiculously small but if you had the proposed 2 per room, it owuld be quite difficult long term.
HAd the tour today which was interesting-ate too much at dinner(so i wouldnt get hungry at oh 8pm) we had dinner at 5.45.
Im actually going to read a book this week too!. Thats the plan, i have NOT been reading enough latelly(well not at all really)
so
its a wine detox week, no coke zero after today, and im trying to take on board what the nutritionist today said as well
i would be happier if the lock on my window actually worked, but you cant have everything i guess. im also surprised that there is only 2 toilets/showers in our block(separate) but that there is not a different one for teachers to use- so i have to use the toilets after the smelly boys, and believe me when i say im a little bit precious-i dry retch as soon as there is ANY sort of smell at all
.feeling a bit mentally -i dont know how to describe it.down's not quite the right word but it is along those lines, maybe disappointed is a better word-and that is nothing to do with camp, completely just other stuff

That's a shame. Are you still here Thurs 1 Oct? The Vets have their first meet that night up at the track. If you can sneak out, there's a 100m 7pm, 400m 7.15pm, 1500m 7.40pm.
So, whatcha reading?
up at what track? the AIS track?
Yes, what other track is there near the AIS? Bring your kids up as a cheer squad!
*shudder* not a massive flying fan either, despite having to do it 4 or 5 times a year. Every bump and funny noise sends me into a panic.
Wish they'd hurry up and figure out teleportation, what are all those lazy physicists doing with their time anyway?
