OMG-someone call an exorcist

..yep because somebody calm, rational and in control took over me today-
all day today i um-ed and aah-ed over whether to do a water run or run at the track

-right decision- run in the water- i know karen is keen for that, racing saturday, and back still sore, and calves VERY sore after yesterdays massage and needling. warm up 7mins -ish(someone forgot to take a watch.derr fred) and my eyesight is NOT good enough to see the clock(i had to ask a 70 year old for the time-how embarassing...lol-he's gone the clockj is just over there love(and then read out the time!!!hehe i SUCK)(i can see the minute clock(just not the real time clock) though so it was good for reps) then 3x 4x30s efforts(and i worked VERY hard-got heart right up) 4min recovery..im calling it 6kms as i ran constantly for 35 mins..and feeling quite pleased with self.rare for me to make the good decision :)

-wanted decision-run at the track-its only an easy session, some speed is nice, ill just take some anti inflamms(yep that did actually go through my mind!!)
..anyway somehow i managed to make the right decision and it turned out to be SUPER right, cos the weather turned to shite and i would have had to train in the rain, which woulda meant spikes(which i had decided against due to calves) miss jo smiles SMUGLY, i cant believe i actually made a RIGHT decision!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
yay me!
..and i tried oh so hard NOT to go shopping today-and i succeeded, but i wont get carried away, my healthy eating wasnt quite so good when i made a meat lovers pizza(salami/ham/bacon) and vegies-but yes delish and it wasnt as bad as if i went OUT like i was going to when i sat in my car and had THAT stern conversation with myself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and got out of the car

OK
okerly dokerly-to running-YAY- i set myself 2 goals this season- sub 45 for sandown(smashed it :) ) and to beat my Tan relay time. Well goal 2 comes into effect this weekend-and whilst my training(due to masters) has veered significantly away from cross country racing) i am feeling very fit and i am getting some speed back-yes my endurance may have diminished, but the plan is go hardish up anderson and PUSH over the crest into the downhill bit and hit that stupid sub 17- yes i am somewhat obsessive(i know that i said it a day or two ago) Stu always says i OVER analyse the CRAP out of everything, but thats how i am so there! i think that is followed up with a plthththththht LOL
and im sorry about all the whining yesterday- i was feeling sooooo sorry for myself.i get like that sometimes cos its a lifelong thing which is super depressing :( (and sometimes it just hurts so damn much!and i JUST want to be normal and have pain sometimes!!!!!! for short periods!!!!) and i think its unfair but you know what- its not unfair, i have a great life, great job, perfect boyfriend, great house, so i am A LUCKY LUCKY PERSON,i just have to manage this one LITTLE? thing and not be such a sooky la-la! so there!!
so plthththththt TO ME and my self indulgence of yesterday(but yes it may well occur again)
have a good nite chicos and chicolettes xox

Good decision re water running ...

So, is that goal a sub-17 lap of the tan? How far round is it (you gotta remember I'm not a very regular Tan goer). so what is target pace?

Luckily the Tan is not cross country so stopping XC training two months ago will not affect this Saturday's race.

Sub 17 with no doubt!

I've no doubt you'll PB on Saturday, you've been very strong this year :-)
