a shorter long run..and a massage from hell

..so todays' run was shorter on account of it being HIDEOUS hills(i had to walk parts of them!!!! but then i was PRETTY damn soft today...... i felt like i was going to spew..... the legs were kinda tired from yesterdays run and i can tell you, by then end w(which was like 8.5kms ONLY and 53ish mins) they were completely STUFFED..
then home for a pancake brekky and then some hwk :( sooooooooooooo NOt fun!!!!!!!!!
-and then off to point cook where i decided to get a massage from one of those chinese places..stu and i sometimes go there ona sunday...
ERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR pain doesn't even begin to describe it.... i was so sore it was incredible.... the guy was breathing pretty hard.....you could hear him thinking sheeez these muscles are tight... at one stage i even said..."um sorry theyr a bit tight-ive run a lot this weekend" its okay but too much running was his reply
..and then at the end he said(in quite a strong accent) ..yes...very deep massage,.... you too tight OMG it was hideous..i was kinda laughing at the end-it felt like he was punching me.... so the plan is a massage once a week til the back gets manageable and the legs are not balls of STEEL
then home and stu and i took the tackers out for vietnamese(and i even had some dessert!!!!! well i shared a banana fritter with SM )

i am a lucky girl to be fit and healthy and have a lovely bf and a lovely house and a cool job(apart from the reports)

Hills that they are! 8.5k in 54 ish means tough work. Well done, the benefits will appear in 6 weeks if all goes well.

I've often thought about getting a massage at those little places, but now you've put me off!

Sounds like a great massage if it was more painful than the 8.5k hill run.

I know what you mean about repeatable weeks - that's my preference too, but I'll give repeatable days a go for a while :)
