..a nice easy session?
so tonights session was supposed to be 2x400 @ sub 80 and 2x300 with 3 or 2 min ACTIVE recovery
ughghhghg dreaded words for miss jo but compulsory
DID YOU SEE THE GALE FORCE WINDS...OMG----i rang stu to say i hope you are re-thinking the 400s..... his response, dry as ever, nope the times may change but the sets will NOT
d'oh d'oh d'oh got tpo the track..OMFG weribbe is JUST ridiculous...anyway Bel said to me what are you doing and i said 400s-she raised her eyebrows and said maybe it would change(she did the but shes way tougher than me..lol-a 15/5km runner) i replied, no chance -already tried. She said'i think after stu ran 2 laps he is considering changing...... "WOOHOO
wasnt i a happy camper to find out it was 3x300@58 and 2x200 same pace
However, active recovery(and since im the oldest i have to enforce it, meant 1 min walk,1.75min jog... amidst some complaining...)
hit all the times, 56-oops, 58,57 200s 38,37dead an done thing ive noticed since the AIS, my style has changed in one small way, my hips definitely 'push forward a little' and as a result, i definitely RUN TALLER- i now am always aware of this!
busy at work-no point elaborating-thats just the way it is...in 3ish weeks im about to be in cruise central though-half of my classes will have finish... thats the payoff for working sooooooooooo hard during the year and taking on two year 12 classes

Hope you didn't yell "Woohoo!" too loud when Stu changed the session ;)
Great about getting the hips forward and running tall. Very speedy for gale force winds!
Break a leg tomorrow - um, I mean, good luck! Make the final!
