yay jo finally does a running post
ok so apparently i know better than the physio... and thats after me posting to deege to say ..your body knows best... hmmmm.. hypocrite i think springs to mind about myself ;)
ok so i was allowed to do 4 x 1km..but strictly on an oval.. i think the words not the TAN were used...
ummmmm i'll have to blame the cricketers..cos the first two ovals i drove to, had cricketers playing on them.. and then well i kinda went to the Tan!
was told to do slow running so i kinda figure 6ish minutes per km
1st km 6:06 min/km happy with that pace
2nd km 5:53 min/km still happy
3rd km 5:54 min still happy
4th km 5:37 min probs should slow a little ..and this is where physio advise to stop
5th km 5:44 min a little faster than my aim but not too bad
6th km 5:32 min felt a reasonable pace ..but not what i was aiming for.. but i did manage to resist striding out in the last 100m...and the URGE was strong..
pulled up a little bit sore.. so decided i would go to the pool to do some walking and slow twisting .. forward lunges were ok.. sideways ones are out i discovered after one attempt... still feel like an idiot when i do it.. but hopefully it will help.. going to the pool was me trying to placate the.. dont overdo it gods (alhtough seriously...how can 6kms be overdoing it)
so fingers crossed that its all good.. and can maybe do a similar session tomorrow.. when all my teacher friends are at school... and IM not... oooooh sorry. i shouldnt say that.. I need all the good kharma i can get at the mo
motto for the day: no falling over. . . . so far so good ;)

Congratulations on the running post- and the running!
As I said on MSN, a 6k run walk on grass would have been A LOT better than that session, WAY too hard!
