av round one.. joey on the sidelines

Well done to everyone who competed today.. i was soooooo jealous

i still went and watched.. and am very glad that i did.. whilst it was kinda depressing watching everyone else run, it was nice to see the gang and have a chat to everyone.. and of course they gave me a job to do so i was at least productive :)
besides i was a little hungover so it was a good way to pass the day... oh yeah..had forgotten how completely BRILLIANT a slurpee is for a hangover..unbeatable

water running again tomorrw(although have to rethink attire.. had a crop top bather(with tankini 2-noone needs to see this belly) and well ..a little more support is required.. the girls are used to being well and truly strapped in when i run... i dont know how my normal sport bra would go in the pool.. these are some of the serious issues facing some us gals!!

hows this..... met that guy for a drink last night with his friends.. no problem.. they were lovely.. but he just left me for about an hour(I didnt know where he was)..i was contemplating leaving... his comment when queried on this..was he figured given the type of person i was,i didnt need to be babysat... which is true (i was conversing with his rather hot friend ..and feeling guilty for thinking it)but...an hour... well i dont know it was a whole hour..but it was a long time ..LOL

Man, he is really testing you early! Good work heading out to AV when you aren't running- it must have been hard for you.
I am pretty sure your nanna friends at the pool can recommend a cossie with built in bra and a little skirt!

hey joey. thanks for coming out yesterday. it absolutely sucks being injured, but you really helped us out heaps in the relays. We always struggle for volunteers with so many runners and teams out on the course. Hope you enjoyed meeting all the new folks we have running for our powerhouse Coburg Harriers Club

As Jegster said, every Club needs all hands on deck. When I did the after race chat with Western A's, my first thanks was to those who volunteered to help out, without them, there are NO points for the runners.
