Lest we forget

Respect, remembrance, gratitude for all that was given and sacrificed so that we can live the life we do.

Just met some gf's for brunch(was supposed to be on a date but i'll explain that later) i had poached eggs, spinach on rye, much to the disgust of my gfs..who well enjoyed their egg/bacon and hash brown(ooh no thanks)..i will make up for it with crisps during the footy... was going to stroll around city..lasted about 10mins before leg was too sore... and then walking the last km home...i walked 2-3 streets past mine...god im a ditz sometimes ..blame the MP3

i hate dates to begin with..even more so morning dates(cant even have a drink to ease nerves)... and we all know im not miss patient..
so we were supposed to meet at 11(no actual place or suburb organised)... anyway, there had been no further confirmation that it was still on,nor a meeting place..and it was 10am!!!..( i had texted at 9 and no response)so i decided i would go meet gfs instead..im not going to wait around for a phone call...for god's sake we were supposed to meet in an hour..a gal needs to know what to wear as well!!! so texted and cancelled saying no confirmation, etc so i made other plans..wasn't a narky text..
My gf's seemed to think this was reasonable.. he called at 10:30...bit late sunshine.. (ok felt a little bad when i found out he had been running..but he should have organised earlier) i was nice about it at least :) he wanted to reschedule to tonight..but my leg is sore so decided i will rest it instead. im a bit ambivalent about the whole thing really

First date? No booze? Help! Hope it sorts itself out- it sounds promising but can you really go out with another runner- surely their injuries will never be as serious as yours, your goals more important as your etc!

Did you enjoy the footy? I didn't :(

Keep the guy chasing, if he's interested he'll be back for more.

Crisps Jo??? You're not english are you?

I only saw the first 15 minutes of the footy and it looked really hopeful. I then got a text after it had finished from one of my friends who was there...not happy Jan!!
