LOL-surprisingly IM TIRED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG- my camp group(broken in 2) has soooooooooooooooooo many issues
it was an ORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRDEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLL
and it wasnt all because of the kids...my kids behave spectacularly well for me(im not joking- a few misnomers here and there but generally very good, very respectful etc, but i do pull them into line immediately...one for the other teachers their behaviour, NOT SO MUCH perfect-anyway, this teacher who doesnt seem to discilpne at the tine(yep..what the!)
prefers to write a one page complaint about them and bitch and moan to me and tell me he wants to send them home(I TELL HIM NO.. and he is kind of cranky.....and SERIOUSLY they were just being BOYS-there was NOTHING bad in what they were doing....anyway, i had to diffuse the situation which was not necessary if he had acted like a normal teacher
grrr
anyway (OTHER)quick whinges -SORRY :( i must be annooying today(stu dont even comment!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! )
my back CANNOT cope with living in a tent-it was sooo sore and i only carried a day pack on hikes- i may not do the hike section next year-how sad that i cant manage that anymore-i used to be such a gung ho fit chick who could DO ANYTHING and never had to take a STUPID back into consideration-it is VERY frustarytin but i try to remain positive(sorry-not so much today... kinda LOL)
-its very sad when a 13-14 year old boy is too large to manage a hike-parents should take some responsibility bacause THIS one is your respsonsibility( i saw what crap he ate!!!)
i managed to score A 60min completely hilly run one day, followed by 3 days of hiking(small kms but lots of hours on the feet-and my DAMN feet hurt and my DAMN legs are sore) but I DONT want to whinge cos im a teacher!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
so today when i got up at 8am to go and work from 9am til 1:30pm doing junior sport, i was so tired i could barely cope(didnt help that 8 of 16 boys in the senior boys turned up with less than 18mins before the race started-try that on when youre trying to manage RELAY teams!!!!!!!!!!

ok that done-camp was pretty good...missed my lad a bit(he must make me happy then i guess :)
still completely TIRED(and yes stu-maybe i AM a drama queen)
regaled poor stu-the banana head- with way too many teacher stories last night(he was waaaaay patient))

went for a 45 min water run- couldnt manage a run-thought i would either fall over(NOT JOKING)

tuckered out little pussy cat. 75 mins tomorrow and then A BUCKETLOAD of homework!

so soooooooooooooooooooooooooooorrrrrry that i whinged so much, i am very self centred :( HAD to get it out of my system--as i said to stu last night-please dont make me make ANY decisions, ive been in CHARGE for a whole week(literally for the first 3 days, whilst being the youngest staff member there, i was the one who really was in charge-as in the would come and ask me about all teh stuff

oh did i mention, MY group leader is not being re-employed next week..Yep-try being the person giving feedback to him! hes a nice guy and all, but i think a lot of people dont give realistic feedback0he yelled very inappropriately at a number of MY boys

its offical

MY LEGS HATE ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i started running today and realised just how tired my poor little leggies were. 5:30 pace wasnt easy(and later on 5:45 pace was becoming a struggle ...lol who would have thought i would ever say that about 5:45 pace!!!!!!!!!!!!!! anyway any little rise made my legs want to mutiny but at the 60 min mark when the others went up a tiny rise i decide to stick to the 70 stu had set me rather than 80 and veered off by myself, then felt guilty and doubled back a bit later so i would do 75 mins... a VERY VERY slow 13.3 kms(75mins)

thens stu cooked us some eggs9i am a lucky gal-he is a keeper :)- i was surprised by my weight today 60.xx which i think is just a pherfie..i often weight less when ive had a number of drinks the night before..i would LOVE to get down to 60 or just under.

and thanks Ewen, i will refrain from CC spikes.... am NOT giving up on the sub 45 min at sandown..I think even stu was surprised when he saw me come in at the same time as MEL yesterday- he even said (he was talking about her outsprinting me) "we had never even considered you being near her!"
woohoo!!!!

have finally packed.-took a MILLION hours..lol ok not quite.... and ps i am a LIST girl when it comes to packing...i follow it to the letter the list they give
i went and bought a jacket $110 PLUS a warmish undertop plus a cute beanie from Rays tent city-joined some stupid club but hey it saved me $14...-stu even said it looked ok(thats a ringing endorsement from him, trust me
no running for 5 days aaaaaaaggggggghhhh
ill miss the lad, will miss my computer too(how sad is that!) but i do like to catch up VIRTUALLY... see ya saturday gorgeous peoples!

yay miss jo loooooooves to race

IT WAS GREAT to see miss Em out there :):)
started off with a school function last night til 9:15 with the parent so it was a long long long day, and then back at work at 9:20 in heidelberg for the APS cross country, my boys ran well -i was a bit cold and
i ran relatively conservatively for the first km(well not quite conservatively-but slower than normal)-who put that damn hill at the start!!!! then tacked onto a girl slightly faster than me, then before i knew it i was behind a friend of mine from ballarat and a team mate of mine(both who beat me comprehensively at Jells by 1-2 minutes)-this was when i started to wonder if i went out too hard, but i was feeling good so kept on pushing forward. got to my other team mate who I KNOW im nowhere near usually and actually overtook her on a hill, unfortunately in the last 100m she starting screaming past me-i saw her and went d'oh and surged but she had the better of me, but by her putting in that effort it meant both of us passed about 6 girls in the last 50m.. extremely happy with my run 18:10ish(forgot to hit stop)

bit tired now-having a wine... sore foot(to be expected) stu told me to run in spikes(thank gosh he can make a decision-i to-ed and fro-ed for about 20mins) anyway-they were great-wasnt sure intially but will def wear again-diff from my track spikes-def more cushioning

ANYWAY-just checked the results..im pretty sire thats the first time EVER that ive finished in the top half of the field..79th out of 161..... whoooo just made it
just checked HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE pb over 4km (and trust me its a tough course) about 40s faster than geelong last year...bodes well for sandown 10km....refuse to give up on the sub 45min 10km... 4 weeks ago stu told me he didnt think i would as it was too early in the season, he has revised this to a possibility...im going to GO HARD for it even if it is early in the season-it is my GOAL race after all (45:36 is my pb)-its 3 weeks away and i cant run next week during camp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! bloody camp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oh well a light week may just refresh me i guess!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank goodness its friday(and OVER)

today was a long long long day-out the door at six- had to go do a thing for school 7"30 til 9"15 so not home til 10pm...tired tired and tuckered out little jojo
..last night did a smaller run with the boys probs 4kms-i reckon we sat on about 5:15ish pace(maybe-hard to tell-could have been slower i spose)
and then off to the track..i decided to train even though i had told stu i wouldnt... legs felt good after a rest on wed
foot still a bit sore- one lap warm up was enough(already run 20mins) 2 strides-legs are dead heavy
then the plan is 6x400@90-92s witha 200m shuffle... OMG how much harder does the shuffle make it..i can do 92s 400s standing on my head if i get to have a standing recovery-i was finding this NON stop sessionvery very very hard-stu only made me do 5-didnt sit with him the whole time-sometimes when he went too fast i let him go-i hit the right times
88s-way too fast
92
92
92
90
then 2 lap cool down-then a slight limp as i walked to the car- am wearing my flat shoes-so there is no extra pressure on the foot(not happy with stupid foot) and EWEN im not talking to you after that blasphemous comment you made..and no unfortunately it is not just sore after speedwork or spikes

4km run down at Lardenr park tomorrow-and do you know what i RAPT about..my mate EM is going to run too! im very excited for her
anyway gotta duck off -this little pussycat is crankypants and have to get up and go back to do aschool stuff in the morning..oh and BTW camp all week so there wont be much blogging or running-just a whole lot of COLD jojo-and when miss j gets cold she really doesnt like whinging year 8s so much....lol

no running

after yesterdays set of 4x4min with 3 min recov(1 min shuffle in that 3 mins) and not being able to run the cool down because my foot hurt too much, the decision today was to NOT run. and just the 4.5km run tomorrow after school...maybe some strides at the track...

this foot is really really starting to bother me.Whilst it has been sore for more than 3 months, it is the first thing i feel upon waking, and it is starting to hurt nearly all day now..i must get it checked i think...we'll see how a week of not running next week goes...i am on camp

-as i said to stu, he wont have me to LOOK AFTER NEXT WEEK. he really is a honey, cooks for me, gets my tablets ready for me in the morning(glucosamine, fish oil and also my naprosyn 750mg anti inflam for the back) and puts a piece of fruit next to it..he hates it when i say this..but he is very cute.....

am racing this saturday..think ill wear spikes-yes i know that is going to make my foot hurt, but it is going to hurt either way...i promise if it is still hurting after i get back from camp i will get it checked(i spose i could even make the appt now for 2 weeks away..if it clears up(miss jo snorts as she knows thats not gonna happen), i can always get the dreaded dry needling in my back

and another sunday long run-isnt life good :)

..allthough one of the first thigns i say every morning is....oooh my foot hurts...been pretty much sore evry day since january.never mind-i am going to try some of those party feel gel things

so we took off for a sunday long run-after a very hilly 8kms yesterday i knew leggies would be tired so decided to stick to the flat...and then ummed and aaahed and changed my mind a MILLION times(i am very anooying like that-stu often asks me at dinner what im having and when the lady comes up i order something completely different) LOL-where was I? anyway i decided to go run with stu and his kidlet running group-just felt like an easy run...um hee turned right which meant straight into a whopper of a hill-im quite happy with how my legs are doing up hills at the minnie-they are quite strong- had to stop after 1.5 mins of running to try to warm my ankles up-they just feel like glass initially-should have brought the dencorub -it does help-i think its just leftover crap in them from when i disastrously sprained both the medial and lateral ligament simultaneously-(bball)
anyway the first 26 mins was with the kids and mechelle was running with me and we went off to do another 45 but after10mins she decided she was trashed so she turned around.. :( going from someone to run with to noone was sad, especially as my legs had started to grumble, my ITB was feeling quite tight after 40mins and then the legs themselves felt very very tired..lets just say the last half hour wasnt overly nice but70 mins is 70 mins done
last week was my highest week since last july.. 49.5 kms and substantially higher than any this year
easier week this week(racing sat) and next(im on camp)

ooh and im moving like an old granny-i think im the only person who would rather STEEP uphill than STEEP downhill-it really HURTS my back... ive taken anti inflamms but if it remains like it is(sharp pains evry time i try to stand up) i will have to go to dry needling but i really really really dont waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

..pay it forward

did you ever watch the movie ;pay it forward" that movie really touched me... someone does something nice for you-at some stage when can, you do something nice for 3 people..anyway its given me an idea-ill keep it to myself though but suffice it to say, i think that movie had a GREAT philosophy

thought i was finishing work early yesterday but turned out i had to hang around for hour and half for a meeting.....bugger bugger

anyway-had cross country with the boys at my school today they did so well, i was very proud of them
then off home where stu took me to Gellibrand(dont ask me where it is i have NFI) for a 40 ish min run
..err someone forgot to tell miss jo that it was full of hillls!!!!!! we did 7.8km in 43 mins..i felt reasonably good considering ive jumped by over 10kms this week

i also ran 6 days a week-i thought i always ran 6 days a week but checking my schedule there only been 4 or less weeks this year where i have run 6 days... anyway a 49.5km week for me is rather large-havent run this far in quite some time...lighter week next week

did quite a lot of hwk today-more tomorrow as well-having a few wines tonight whlist staying home with my most lovely bf (and yes that is stu....lol)
